This episode is exciting for me because we get to hear from a guy. We don’t do a lot of male interviews and you better tune in to hear coach Ron's story. Being a coach and the athletic director at his school, you’d think that he wouldn’t struggle with weight. However, his weight skyrocketed to the point where he didn’t have any energy and was sleeping all the time. He had to get cortisol injections to his knees to reduce pain. His wife, a nurse practitioner joined Code Red and did amazing on the program. This inspired Coach Rush to get started on the program. He went on to lose 70 pounds in about seven months and has kept this weight off since then. All because of real food, water, and sleep. The weight loss has completely changed his life. He is a better coach since he has lots of energy and has gained self-confidence. He is a better teacher, a better husband, and a better father to his children. Not only this, but he has also competed in several athletic events including 3 triathlons and a half marathon, and plans to compete in an Iron Man event.
