The much anticipated infrastructure report has revealed that the Beenleigh Fast Rail Upgrade has ballooned from $2.6 billion to $4.1 billion.

Off the back of this report, Transport Minister Mark Bailey has admitted to yet another gigantic cost blowout saying the cost for this project is now, 'a little north of 5'.

That's $5 billion, which means there is about $1 billion missing that Bailey has not disclosed to Queenslanders.
