According to an article in the Harvard Business Review, every organization has an emotional culture, even if the culture is one of suppressing emotions. “By not only allowing emotions into the workplace, but also understanding and consciously shaping them, leaders can better motivate their employees.” To dive more deeply into this topic, I reached out to a colleague of mine, Joy Stickel. Joy is an accomplished and highly motivated global human resources leader with a deep passion for work in the talent and culture space. Her HR career spans over 25 years and extends across a range of industries including hospitality, high tech, life sciences, and pharma.
