A slightly different format this week. Two authors of the same book, interviewed one after the other. Exciting, eh?   It's a podcast about smart people and smart children. How do you define success?  What are some of the basic theories behind creating successful people? How do you cultivate resilience? What role do screens play (or not play) in success? In The Formula: Unlocking the Secrets to Raising Highly Successful Children, Harvard economist Ronald Ferguson, named in a New York Times profile as the foremost expert on the US educational "achievement gap," along with award-winning journalist Tatsha Robertson, reveal an intriguing blueprint for helping children from all types of backgrounds become successful adults.   Ronald is first, and advance warning you'll hear his fax machine go off a couple of times! I didn't know people still used faxes but they do and why not. Ronald is fantastic and so is Tatsha who comes after.   It's not all baby-related now I’m having a baby. But some things transcend parenthood, and this subject is relevant for all. But there is some parenthood stuff in there so if that's not your bag I won't be offended if you quietly wait for next week.
