Carling Zeeman grew up on a rural property in southern Ontario with lots of animals and lots of space. From a large family, her mom would line up the children to race down their long driveway, staggering the start from slowest to fastest, to keep the race competitive. Now, Carling lines up with the world and is the fastest female single sculler Canada has seen in decades.
