Es: El sol brillaba alto en el cielo de Madrid.
En: The sun shone high in the Madrid sky.

Es: Carlos y Lucía decidieron pasar el día en el Parque del Retiro.
En: Carlos and Lucía decided to spend the day at Retiro Park.

Es: Era su lugar favorito.
En: It was their favorite place.

Es: El parque estaba lleno de turistas, flores y árboles.
En: The park was full of tourists, flowers, and trees.

Es: Decidieron alquilar un bote de remos en el estanque.
En: They decided to rent a rowboat on the pond.

Es: "Vamos, Lucía," dijo Carlos con una sonrisa.
En: "Come on, Lucía," said Carlos with a smile.

Es: "Será divertido."
En: "It will be fun."

Es: "Sí, Carlos," respondió Lucía.
En: "Yes, Carlos," replied Lucía.

Es: "Me encanta remar."
En: "I love rowing."

Es: Subieron al bote y comenzaron a remar por el estanque.
En: They got on the boat and started rowing across the pond.

En: A park guide approached in another boat and helped them out of the water.
