• JetBlue Airways (JBLU) -
• Shares were largely unaffected Friday morning following news the company won a $1.5 billion contract with the US Department of Defense.
• A user in Benzinga Pro's lounge chat asked why the stock wasn't moving on the news. For whatever reason, US government contracts as a news catalyst rarely move stocks.
• Carvana (CVNA) -
• A stock with one of the highest short interests right now. Benzinga Pro's Details tool showed nearly 70% of Carvana's float was sold short.
• The Toro Company (TTC) -
• A play on a new bullish rating by analysts at Raymond James. The stock was upgraded to the equivalent of a buy rating Friday morning. The analysts cited the fact "Toro enjoys a massive (and still-rising) backlog of high-margin orders in its Pro segment..."
• Dave & Buster's Entertainment (PLAY) -
• An SEC filing from late Wednesday evening showed private-equity firm Hill Path purchased another 535,000 shares in Dave & Buster's. The purchase adds on to a 660,000 share purchase by Hill Path last week. The private-equity firm now holds about 6.5 million shares and has equity swap rights for another 2.4 million shares, totaling over 18% of Dave & Buster's total shares.
• Jamf Holding (JAMF) -
• Analysts at Needham discussed Jamf shares Friday morning. The analysts called the company's level of production differentiation in Apple devices "under appreciated." The firm maintained the equivalent of a buy rating on the stock.
