After being married for four seemingly blissful years, she discovers that her husband is having an affair. And to make matters worse, her best friend at work is keeping dangerous secrets. Great story! Issues still exist
I enjoyed this story. The opposition that the main character faced is real! So many times people are passed over for promotions because the powers at be let personal feelings sway their decision.
Great book and excellent narration
Great book and narration. It hit on quite a few reality topics with discrimination in the work place. A must read
Great writer, missed the mark
Although I love Lawson Roby, this story was a disappointment. It was too simplistic. The plot was weak with an anti climactic ending. As for the performance, one of the worst I have heard. One reading doing male and female voices but always pretty monotone. It was a struggle to listen to the entire novel.
The Truth in Corporate America
This book outlines exactly what happens to women and minorities in Corporate America even in 2016.
Sad but true.......
ummm
I'm a big fan of the author but I didn't enjoy the book as much as I have the others.
