This week we shine the spotlight on our very own co-host Dr. Ella Amoako. Ella is a pediatric oncology fellow at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Ghana. We discuss Ella's inspiring journey to becoming a pediatrician in Ghana, the challenges she's faced in providing pediatric oncology care in Ghana, and how she continues to advocate for children with cancer. She believes that geography should not be a determinant for survival for pediatric cancer patients. Listen to hear more about her journey.
