Last week we spoke to the Paarl Post’s Chantelle Hartebeest about an incident where a parent physically attacked a learner accused of bullying his children, the incident was filmed & CapeTalk listeners flooded the lines with their thoughts, this unfortunately is not a once off incident as a recent article in IOL quoted various teachers unions who say that an increase in aggressive behaviour from parents both in person & on social media is affecting teachers negatively . Thirona Moodley of the teachers’ union Naptosa & Andrè De Bruyn, from the Education & Allied Workers Union of South Africa (EUSA) joins us on the line.
Views and News with Clarence Ford is the mid-morning show on CapeTalk. This 3-hour long programme shares and reflects a broad array of perspectives. It is inspirational, passionate and positive.
