Ajit Rahi is a renown Punjabi writer who lives in Australia. He has penned down the life story of numerous freedom fighters including Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Ajit Singh, Chandar Shekhar Azaad etc. His books on the events of 1984 (Nadir Shah Di Vapsi & Teeja Ghalughara) are very popular among the readers of Sikh history.

Ajit Rahi calls himself a born refugee. His journey as a refugee starts from West Punjab which ends up into Australia via East Punjab.
