The NSW Deep Green Biotech Hub (DGBH) works to connect NSW-based businesses with cutting-edge algae biotechnology research at the University of Technology Sydney, so they can together build a deep green future. They aim to educate the public about the incredible potential for algae biotechnology to solve sustainability challenges to inspire the social license to create a thriving green ‘bioeconomy’ in Australia. The work is made possible by Investment NSW Boosting Business Innovation Program.

About Rachael Scott

Rachael is the NSW Deep Green Biotech Hub’s Outreach Ambassador, where she has the incredible privilege of working with UTS Climate Change Cluster scientists and businesses who are innovating with algae to create a more sustainable world. A huge part of Rachael’s work is sharing her enthusiasm for algae, nature and science with students to inspire the next generation of changemakers.
