Alice Aedy is a photojournalist, director, documentary filmmaker and activist. 

Alice spent much of the years between 2015 and 2018 on the front-lines of the European refugee crisis, reporting from inside refugee camps across Europe and the Middle East. Her work focuses on migration, women’s rights and environmental issues and has been published in The Times, Vice and The Guardian to name buy a few. In 2018 Alice was featured on The Sunday Times Alternative Rich List which recognises courage, wisdom, and perseverance. Alice recently completed an MA in documentary film-making at UCL. Her directorial debut, ‘Disconnected’, premiered at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2019, and San Francisco Documentary Festival where it was nominated for Jury Prize and Audience Award.
