Alice opens her Bible storybook to read the Psalms and Proverbs. Then, she writes her own poems to share.
Obviously all books ABOUT the Bible that AREN'T the Bible are varying degrees of interpretive. This book is the same. Though I don't necessarily agree with every reflection "Alice" makes, I think her intentional reading of, reflection upon, and personal synthesis/application from the Scriptures are a delightful practice that we could all engage in! I hope this story encourages you to pick up a copy of the Bible and make some reflections of your own!
