Welcome to Episode 358. We lost like 30 minutes of this episode. Ugh. That’s what happens when you don’t properly hit record. Doh! Anyway, this week we have a contest for the movie Wander starring Tommy Lee Jones and Aaron Eckhart so be sure to enter. Not only that but we are joined by the always wonderful Stephanie Chapman.

This week before we jump into Good Pop Bad Pop we talk about Warner Bros. dropping all of their movies for 2021 simultaneously dropping on HBO Max and in theaters. What does this mean for the future of film? We do our best to understand what this could mean going forward.

In Good Pop Bad Pop for movies we talk Sound of Metal starring Riz Ahmed and Olivia Cooke. Riz Ahmed plays a heavy-metal drummer whose life is thrown into free-fall when he begins to lose his hearing.

In Good Pop Bad Pop this week for TV Brian talks about Des a Sundance TV mini-series starring David Tennant as serial killer Dennis Nilsen. We all discuss The Holiday Movies That Made Us on Netflix. Brian and Stephanie give their thoughts on Hulu’s new series The Hardy Boys as well as Big Mouth Season 4 on Netflix. Two YouTube specials dropped recently and we talk about both.
