This long-form, bilingual, documentary podcast charts how over the years, El Chapo has captured the world’s attention and gained mythological status as an escape artist when he twice absconded from top-security prisons and eluded police. El Chapo is now awaiting trial next week in New York City’s Metropolitan Correctional Center. The series tells the story of El Chapo and the effects his drug empire had on both sides of the border.
