Most Celtic households grew up on stories of the great Jimmy McGrory, of Prince Of Goalkeepers Johnny Thompson, and of the legendary Willie Maley - all who were amongst the earliest heroes to pull on a Celtic jersey.

In their own ways these men achieved incredible things for Celtic, and the weren't alone in doing so across one of the most astonishing eras in the club's history.

Now, renowned Celtic author Matt Corr has produced the definitive account of that time in his new offering "Celtic In The Thirties" - a two parter telling tales of McGrory, Thompson, Maley and so many other figures from our past.

Matt joined us at The Celtic Exchange to discuss one of the most memorable decades of Celtic's history. One littered in equal measure by both triumph and tragedy.
