385: ANDOR Press Roundtables - An Evil Love Story

Even though we are just under a month until the premiere of Star Wars: ANDOR on Disney+, we are going to whet your appetite here with audio and our thoughts from the virtual press day! Not only did we learn a lot from a virtual press conference, Sarah and Richard joined Star Wars fan site roundtables featuring the cast, including Diego Luna.    While it was a joy to talk with Star Wars alums Diego Luna (“Cassian Andor” and Executive Producer), Genevieve O’Reilly (“Mon Mothma”), and Tony Gilroy (Executive Producer / Writer / Showrunner), the true surprise and delight turned out to be Star Wars newbies Kyle Soller (“Syril Karn”) and Denise Gough (“Dedra Meero”). The two were paired for their roundtable and hinted at a romantic arc for their characters. As you may have guessed this is not a sequel to ROGUE ONE but a prequel that follows Cassian’s journey from young man to Rebel, 5 years before the events of the film.
