The implied attack on Tulsi Gabbard by Hillary Clinton, suggesting that she might be used by the GOP as a third-party candidate to hurt the Democrats in 2020, has inspired the Hawaii congresswoman to step up her attacks on her party establishment.  Colin Moore at the University of Hawaii still would like to know what Gabbard will ultimately decide to do.

Cameron Easley of Morning Consult reviews his organization’s listing of the nation’s most popular governors — as well as the most unpopular.

And Jerome Vaughn of WDET reviews the legacy of John Conyers, the former House member from Michigan who died last week.  Conyers, the longest-serving African-American congressman in history who had a strong record of fighting for civil and human rights, will also be stained by his forced resignation from Congress in 2017 after he was accused of sexually harassing several women, including those on his staff.
