On Episode 128 of the Thale-Harate Kannada Podcast, Samyuktha Puligal talks to host Pavan Srinath and illustrates the art and skill of translation, sharing numerous examples from verse and prose literature, as well as from her own translations.

Samyuktha Puligal is a Kannada author, writer and a translator with a Masters each in Kannada and English literature. She currently works as an instructional designer at Adobe. Samyuktha has authored three Kannada books, including Dhimanta Chetana (a biography), Laptop Paradeyachege (a collection of articles), and Operation Belakina Kidigalu (a young adult fiction novel). She has translated three books into Kannada to date, Parvatadalli Paavada (Miracle in the Andes), Rebel Sultanaru (Rebel Sultans) and most recently, Goodininda Baanige (LiftOff! The Story of Conzerv).
