More states are now using mobile phone cameras to detect cameras to monitor seatbelts.

It's not just drivers not wearing a seatbelt who can cop a penalty, you can also be on the hook if your front seat passengers aren't wearing one, or not wearing it correctly. 

No one can argue against the importance of seatbelts in road safety but is the technology accurate enough?
