Arthur Brooks’ book Love Your Enemies: How Decent People Can Save America From the Culture of Contempt was published this month. This episode features him in conversation with Deb Mashek, executive director of Heterodox Academy, and the two co-hosts of How Do We Fix it?, Richard Davies and Jim Meigs. Arthur is the president of the American Enterprise Institute and former professor of business and government policy at Syracuse University. Before his academic career, he spent 12 years as a French hornist with the City Orchestra of Barcelona and other ensembles.
