Assimilation of the Believer in Today's World
In Exodus 14:10-12 we see how the children of Israel who were being chased by the Egyptians after they had left Egypt, and we're very afraid when they saw the Egyptians coming after them. Fear is Satan's number one tool that he uses to get believers to compromise on their faith in God.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
We are living in the last seconds of the last days before Jesus Christ comes back to gather up those that have been waiting for His appearing:
Luke 12:34-40
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. “Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps lit. Be like men who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may immediately open the door to him when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those slaves whom the master will find on the alert when he comes; truly I say to you, that he will gird himself to serve, and have them recline at the table, and will come up and wait on them. Whether he comes in the second watch, or even in the third, and finds them so, blessed are those slaves. “But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have allowed his house to be broken into.You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect.”
