After hearing this interview I'm sure, like I did, you'll quickly become a big fan of this Southern California native. His positivity, enthusiasm and hard working mentality has propelled Marcos to success at every level of tennis he's competed at in his career. In this conversation he shares a lot about the types of things he's learned and improved in the off-season and throughout his career that have helped him reach new heights in his game and hopefully continue to do so.

Marcos grew up just outside of Los Angeles in the tennis hot-bed of Thousand Oaks, which produced the likes of Sam Querrey, JT Sundling and Kyle McMorrow just to name a few. After becoming the #1 recruit in the country in high school, Marcos played three years of college tennis at UCLA under legendary head coach Billy Martin. Following his junior year where he won the NCAA Individual Singles title and finished the year ranked #1 in the nation, Marcos decided to turn pro and has been grinding ever since! After beginning the 2019 season outside of the top 300, he's currently ranked at a career high of #165 in the world.
