Mega-events are becoming too large, too complex, and too costly, subsequently discouraging potential candidates for future host cities. Commonwealth Sport is applying lessons learned from past events to reduce the risk of delivery and help make future Commonwealth Games more affordable and efficient. Birmingham 2022 is the opportunity to apply those lessons to change the technology template.
