The Live for Lily Foundation was created in honour of nine-year-old Lily who sadly passed away from a rare form of liver cancer.
Her father Aaron and his team have worked tirelessly to raise awareness and much-needed funds for childhood cancer research.
One of their biggest efforts is the Ride for Lily, a grueling 1,000 kilometre bike ride from Port Macquarie to Noosa, kicking off this April.
Live for Lily Foundation co-founder Aaron Hester told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "The Foundation was never front and foremost."
"I never even would imagine in a million years that I would have been heading up a foundation in her honour," he said.
