あわれな⁉️ みじめな⁉️ 両方ともmiserable… 何がちがう⁉️

「哀れな人」は「かわいそうで思わず同情してしまう人」です。

「哀れな人」は、見ていて気の毒で、かわいそうだと同情したくなる人のことを言います。

例えば、火事で家や車やお金など全てを失ってしまい、悲しんでいる状態などを表します。

so miserable….that many people also tend to have big sympathy for the miserable person… 
For example, there is a little girl… and she lost her parents because of the car accident… but only she survived…

2.
「惨めな人」は「かわいそうで、全然よくない状況になってしまったと思う人」です。

「惨めな人」は、かわいそう、痛々しいなど、とてもまともに見ていられない程、ひどく不幸な人のことを言います。

例えば、ギャンブルをたくさんして、お金がなくなった。借金の問題を抱えたあと、借金取りから逃げて、家から逃げて、ホームレスになってしまった状態などを表します。

so miserable….and just terrible (there is no guarantee that other people have sympathy for the miserable person or not…)

For example, there was a rude, nasty boss. And not many people wanted to work for him any more… the boss had to quit the job, losing the job etc (that’s his own fault…)
