If we're honest, we as adults struggle feeling entitled as much as our children do.  Amy McCready has been working with parents of toddlers to teens for years and she continues to see recurring themes of kids not taking responsibility, not feeling motivated, and struggling to handle disappointment - but these themes sometimes begin with us! Join us as we discuss how to handle both entitlement and responsibility.

In This Episode You'll Hear...

What actually is entitlement?

How responsibility and entitlement go hand-in-hand

What prompted Amy to write a book about entitlement

What it looks like when entitlement in a child is not dealt with

When we should step in and rescue our kids

Handling entitlement in little children

Eliminate the Overwhelm of Meal Planning

With homeschooling and all the other kinds of schooling we're doing at our house, life has gotten busy. I've loved adding in super simple recipes that are healthy and require little prep. Our current family favorite is BBQ chicken. It's just boneless, skinless chicken thighs and our favorite BBQ sauce. Bake at 350 for about 30-45 minutes and dinner is ready!

I've also found that PlanToEat.com has helped me with more than just my simple dinners, but also in planning the kids' school lunches. And ANYTHING that makes packing lunches easier deserves a trophy of some kind. Can I get an amen?
