Throughout our life we experience suffering and joy.  Amid suffering and hardships you can find contentment in the Lord despite your circumstances.  We don’t have to be overcome by our situations, because we have Jesus, and He gives us strength.  It is through Him we can do anything because He is everything.  Ministry site: www.kingdomencounters.us In the flooded land of the Philippines, many live in these flooded waters for months on end. In the Word, we read about Paul and what he went through, flogging, persecution, and suffering, but he was filled with joy. Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” This passage is talking about being able to go through any situation, in lack or prosperity, because Jesus Christ is the one who gives us strength. It is through Him that we can do anything and that we have everything. Jesus is everything, and anyone who has Him has it all. The Word says to be content in what you have because He will not leave you or forsake you. It is an act of trust in God almighty, in Him all things are possible.
