When making offerings, we want to bring the best to Kṛṣṇa and his representative. And the best of what we have to offer is what the Lord and his devotees, specifically His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda , likes most, which is to hear the results of book distribution around the world. As we know from hearing from Prabhupāda’s servants, he was eager to open the sankīrtan newsletter first to hear the results. He also said that it gave him solace and made him feel like a young man when he heard the results of the sankīrtan.

I congratulate everybody today, all of us as a global team working hard to bring the rains of benediction on the world. When we sing, “Saṁsara-dāvānala-līḍha-loka-trāṇāya kāruṇya-ghanāghanatvam,” the absolute truth rains down mercy like a cloud through the pure devotee and, in this case, through the pen of Śrīla Prabhupāda, who has taken his speech that he spoke into a dictaphone and then it's been abstracted in writing. What to speak of pictures of Kṛṣṇa and the pastimes of Kṛṣṇa in the spiritual world. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, the unparalleled literature that Lord Caitanya called the 'Amala Purāṇa' and that Prabhupāda said would be the means by which people all over the world would be purified and come to the spiritual platform. We've all engaged in this activity together and now we here celebrate by offering the results to Śrīla Prabhupāda. So, we'll start today by ....
