Bryan Fischer here with the Life and Liberty Minute. The United States was founded as a Christian nation, built on the truth claims and moral standards of the Judeo-Christian tradition. That’s why it has been customary since the dawn of the Republic for our president to offer remarks on Easter, the day we as a people celebrate the resurrection of Christ from the dead, the hope of the world. President Biden made public remarks on Easter this year, but one thing was strikingly different. The president found time to mention the Easter Bunny but made not one single mention - as in zero, zip, nada, zilch - not one single mention of Jesus Christ. We are warned in Scripture about what happens to a nation which forgets where it came from and the values and convictions which shaped it from the beginning. Let’s pray that by this time next year, our president will learn what Easter is all about.
