Dr. Morehand brings to the Black Doctoral Network Podcast her knowledge of over 28 years of service as a classroom teacher, instructional specialist, assistant principal and principal. Dr. Renee shares her passion for the youth, and her vision for Afrocentric schools that begin with early childhood education.

Dr. Morehand challenges us to empower and equip our students, providing tips on teaching self-worth and closing the black to white student gap. Dr. Renee has started her school development project and provides us with details on how we can support the funding for The Sojourner Truth Academy for Learning.

Dr. Renee L. Morehand obtained her master’s degree in School Leadership and earned her Doctorate in Management with a concentration in Organizational and Change.
