Bold and the Beautiful on CBS sees Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) shocks everyone by announcing the death of Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) during her recovery from surgery. However, a slip-up from another cast member reveals Luna might still be alive. This week's storyline saw Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) and Li performing surgery on Luna, which nearly resulted in Luna's death. Following the operation, Li informs her sister Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) that Luna didn't survive. 

B&B sees Poppy's reaction to the news stuns everyone, especially Li. Poppy expresses her relief at Luna's death, leading to a heated exchange between the sisters. Li condemns Poppy as a terrible mother and person, creating more tension. Fans of the show are left questioning Luna's fate due to a social media post from Brooke Logan's actress, Katherine Kelly Lang, which seemingly shows Luna's name on a script for an episode airing on September 8th.

Bold and Beautiful sees speculation that Li may be hiding Luna, similar to when the character Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) faked the death of Finn (Tanner Novlan), her son. This theory suggests that Li, now showing sympathy for Luna, may be planning to nurse Luna back to health in secret, out of dislike for her sister Poppy and a belief she could offer Luna a better life. The leaked script indicating Luna's return in September supports this theory, throwing the authenticity of Li's claim of Luna's death into doubt.
