More weekly spoilers for The Bold and the Beautiful indicate that Ridge and Taylor also discuss their son, Thomas, who is struggling with the havoc caused by Paris Buckingham's (Diamond White) mother, Grace. However, Taylor's romantic plans are shattered when Ridge confesses he cannot marry her. This unexpected rejection leaves Taylor stunned and hurt.

And other spoilers for B&B hint that Thomas, unaware of his father's dilemma, is busy confronting Brooke about her intrusion into his parents' relationship. Misled by Ridge about his impending wedding to Taylor, Thomas also confronts his father about his intimacy with Brooke. Unbeknownst to Thomas, Ridge has already terminated his engagement to Taylor, setting the stage for further drama.
