BOMM: Long Live Hood Movies

Amin, Tray, Jerv and Sean open the show catching on up Oz season 2 ep 3 & 4. There's a lot going on. Were the episodes slow or just setting us up for the rest of the season? We then get into Power. Are things about to get bad for Unique? What's Marvin's next move in the season finale next week? Just before we hopped on the mic we got word that AJ Johnson has passed at the young age of 55. We pay tribute to the Compton legend by going through his long filmography and talk about some of the characters he played in classics like Friday and I got the Hook-Up. It then leads us to the question; What happened to all the hood movies? Why don't they make good ones anymore? Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor turns 15 this week so we close the show reminiscing on the state of Hip-Hop in 2006.
