In this episode Richard Susskind talks to George Miller about his lifelong interest in technological advancements, which started during his academic studies at university and progressed into his professional career. They also discuss the implications of such change on the legal profession which has historically rejected technology.
Richard Susskind OBE is an author, speaker, and independent adviser to international professional firms and national governments. He is President of the Society for Computers and Strategy and Technology Adviser to the Lord Chief Justice. He holds professorships at Oxford University, UCL, Strathclyde University, and Gresham College. He is the author of ‘Tomorrow’s Lawyers: An Introduction to Your Future’ (OUP, 2017) and co-author of ‘The Future of the Professions’ (OUP, 2015).
