I encourage you to implement these at least once a day but ideally 3 times a day. Perhaps setting a timer on your phone to remind you. Implement these around something you are already doing, like picking up the kids from school- driving to work or brushing your teeth. This helps eliminate the temptation to think abut body scans as "one more thing to do".
Body scans are a way to gather more in formation as to what you body is telling you about your emotions and your thoughts. Its a way to reconnect yourself after being disconnected through trauma triggers.
