Another great Mary Gibson story

Have read the previous Mary Gibson books so def had to get this, esp as Anne Dover narrating is superb - and I warmed to the familiar characters and liked the depth of the storyline - there were some twists interspersed throughout & I learnt alot about the history and health side of London in the 30's. The setting was different to some books of Mary's and I liked the authenticity of it all. It rang true both in stories and characterisation.

It was a change from a war time setting but still had the warmth of people pulling together. 5 stars

Listened to this book over a weekend , loved the story and of course the narrator she brings this book to life

I really enjoyed this book. It kept me fully engaged from the beginning to the end and I loved it.
