'BradCast' 7/19/2021 (Callers explain why  they refuse to get vaccinated, even as the Delta variant surges)

On today's 'BradCast':  It's not only Trumpers who are wildly misinformed when it comes to the COVID vaccines. Callers ring in today (many who claim they are not Trump supporters) to explain their reasons...as deadly and misinformed as they may be. The COVID Delta variant is tearing through largely unvaccinated areas of the country - primarily Trump-supporting states - while dramatically increasing hospitalization and death rates, and threatening the economic recovery.  Nearly all of those who are now becoming severely ill or dying from COVID are unvaccinated. But it's not just in Trump Country -- in Los Angeles County, where many residents are also vaccine-hesitant, a new surge of COVID infections has forced officials to reinstate an indoor mask mandate.  We asked callers to explain why they are refusing the COVID vaccine, including what information they are receiving,  and their reasons are many and varied. We hope the conversation may shed some light on the mess we are in as a nation, despite broad access to free, life-saving vaccines for all, and why we may soon find the nation locked down again due to massive misinformation that continues to pollute the body politic.
