On today's 'BradCast':  A very busy news day began with the catastrophic collapse of a high-rise condominium building in South Florida, with dozens still missing. President Biden declared 'we have a deal' on an infrastructure package with a bipartisan group of Republicans and conservative Democratic senators -- the $1.2 trillion bipartisan compromise deal focuses only on so-called 'hard' infrastructure and must still pass Congress. Biden pledged to find a path forward via budget reconciliation for his $1.8 trillion American Families Plan that addresses 'human infrastructure' in the care economy. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, citing Republicans' record of reneging on deals at the last minute, said she will not bring up the legislation for a House vote until both proposals first pass the Senate. Speaker Pelosi also announced that she will create a House Select Committee to investigate the deadly, Trump-incited attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, after Republicans negotiated a bipartisan deal to create an independent commission, then used the filibuster to kill it. In leaked audio, three moderate Democratic Senators (Mark Kelley of AZ, Michael Bennett of CO, and Catherine Cortez-Masto of NV) said they support enacting filibuster reform to pass the sweeping voting rights and campaign finance reform bill known as the For the People Act through the Senate. A New York State law committee suspended Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani's law license over his 'demonstrably false and misleading statements' in courts seeking to overturn the 2020 election. Michigan Republican state lawmakers issued a scathing report debunking every false claim made by Trump and his supporters alleging systematic fraud in the state in the 2020 election.
