On today's 'BradCast':  A very bad day for Donald Trump – first, he grotesquely and offensively compared his ongoing Constitutional impeachment inquiry to "a lynching." And then his top diplomat in Ukraine, Bill Taylor, testified to House impeachment investigators that in no uncertain terms Trump had conditionally tied the release of military assistance for Ukraine to the requirement that Ukraine's President publicly commit to investigating Trump's 2020 political rival, Joe Biden. The "damning" testimony directly contradicts Trump and top administration officials who deny there was a quid pro quo. Then: because the story was buried by the corporate media, you may not have heard that Trump's own State Department concluded a years-long probe of Hillary Clinton's emails and her use of a private email server, finding "no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information" by Clinton or anyone in the department. The faux 'scandal' that was disingenuously used by Trump, his campaign and his party to propel him to office in 2016 officially ended with a barely imperceptible whimper, even as top White House officials like Ivanka Trump, son-in-law Jared Kushner have all since been found to have carried out government business on private email servers. Media analyst ERIC BOEHLERT discusses not only the phony "BUT HER EMAILS!" scandal but also the corporate mainstream media's dreadful failure and stunning "whitewash" of its own role in colluding with the Trump Campaign with its incessant, inaccurate over-hyping of the baseless charges during the fateful 2016 Presidential election. He warns the Trump Campaign is scheming to use the very same playbook in 2020. Finally, Desi Doyen has our latest 'Green News Report,' with an Arizona county facing a water deficit, Trump's Energy Secretary resigning, ExxonMobil on trial for climate fraud, and more, as the 'GNR' approaches its 1000th episode ...
