On today's 'BradCast':  Civil rights champion, former Democratic Congressman John Conyers has died at the age of 90, the longest-serving African-American in U.S. House history. Former Democratic North Carolina Sen. Kay Hagan died suddenly on Monday at age 66. Rising-star freshman Rep. Katie Hill announced her resignation from Congress amid allegations of an affair with a staffer (which she denies) in violation of House rules, and the publication of illicit photographs that she charges were released by her estranged "abusive" husband. Another senior Republican House Member, Greg Walden, has joined the growing group of House Republicans announcing retirements. Donald Trump primarily praised himself during an insane press briefing in which he announced a U.S. military operation had succeeded in killing ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in northwestern Syria, claiming that the killing of al-Baghdadi was a much bigger deal than the killing of Osama bin Laden during the Obama Administration. He also lied that he called for the killing of bin Laden before the 9/11 terror attacks (he did not).  Former Deputy National Security Adviser Charles Kupperman asked a federal judge to rule on whether he is legally required to comply with a House impeachment inquiry subpoena on what he knew about Trump's quid pro quo extortion of Ukraine in exchange for dirt on Trump's political rival, Joe Biden. Vice President Mike Pence refused to answer -- four times – when asked on CBS's Face the Nation if he knew about Trump's Ukraine quid pro quo scheme. All of which has left Republicans in the U.S. Senate wildly anxious about their likely vote on Trump's removal from office in an impeachment trial, as polls show independent voters are increasingly turning against the president...
