'BradCast' 7/15/2021 (The REAL cost of the Maricopa, AZ 'audit'; Also: Trump Death Cult rising)

On today's 'BradCast':  Officials in Maricopa County, AZ announced they must spend millions on new voting systems because of potential corruption of their old voting systems during the clown-show 'audit' of the 2020 election conducted by the private conspiracy-theory company Cyber Ninjas. Maricopa Co. could save money by moving to hand-counted, hand-marked paper ballots, counted publicly. The real cost of the Cyber Ninja's bungled 'audit' may be in unfairly delegitimizing professional, non-partisan post-election audits, and undermining Democrats and other candidates seeking recounts and post-election audits in races that merit close investigation. Brainwashed ghouls of Trump's Death Cult cheered at CPAC when a panelist touted that millions of Americans refuse to save their own lives by getting vaccinated. The wingnuts at CPAC were also laughing at Democratic Senators Joe Manchin (WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (AZ) for their gullible willingness to do the GOP's obstruction work for them –- applauding the two Democrats for blocking filibuster reform that would enable passage of crucial voting rights legislation, intended to counter the tsunami of new Republican voter suppression laws. Sen. Manchin indicates he is open to passing Democrats' landmark $3.5 trillion infrastructure reconciliation package. COVID infection rates, hospitalizations and deaths are on the rise again nationally with the rapid spread of the Delta variant. Mississippi state health officials issued new recommendations to get more people vaccinated amid a horrific surge,  warning the unvaccinated that 'people are going to die needlessly.' Tennessee state officials have barred public health officials from all vaccination outreach to teens, including COVID, measles, and HPV. Vaccination rates have crashed in Mississippi, Tennessee, and West Virginia, but are rising in other Republican-controlled states. Plus Desi Doyen has our latest 'Green News Report.'
