Royal Wilder and his wife Millie would like nothing more than a weekend getaway/second honeymoon. The only problem is who will watch their precious boys: Myron and Rupert. Enter Uncle Almanzo who volunteers to watch the kids and in the process hopefully persuade Laura into starting a family. What sounded like a fun-filled couple of days getting to know the boys soon descends into hours of maddening pranks, lies and trickery. Does Laura really thinking a pail of water is going to teach these boys anything? Where did Royal and Millie get their supplies and gear for their river rafting trip? Why didn't anyone introduce the boys to Harriet ?
