Bill, Dan, and Mark break in the brand-new Billified studio, even though Mark jokes that the move to Syracuse is “too far away” for his liking. The new studio is a mile and half from the former studio in Fairport!  The guys jump right into the NFL weekend, starting with the Buffalo Bills’ dominant win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bill admits he doubted the Bills would find the end zone after the first quarter, but credits the defense, the run game, and a revived overall effort for the second-half domination. Dan gives his all-out analysis — without taking a breath — until Bill finally has to interrupt him.

Why?Because Kevin calls in live from the Gillette Stadium parking lot ahead of the Patriots–Giants Monday Night Football showdown. He talks about the pregame vibe, hanging around Giants fans, tailgating that can’t compare to Bills Mafia, and a drunken joke that… well… doesn’t quite land. Before Kevin signs off, Bill gets an update on his StubHub ticket drama, which ends with a thumbs-up despite a very slow delivery.

Then the pod gets into one of the most bizarre stories of the week: Mario V — the accused killer of a healthcare CEO — appears in court claiming his rights were violated. Bill is stunned by the massive show of support outside the courthouse, mostly from women carrying signs, wearing costumes, and shouting “Free Mario!” This leads into a wild discussion about why women often fall for incarcerated men (complete with Menendez brothers trivia) while men rarely fall for women behind bars. Bill even discovers a site called cagedladies.com, and Mark may or may not be considering signing up.

Switching gears, Bill, Dan, and Mark tackle the massive money machine of college football, sparked by Lane Kiffin’s monster new deal to coach the LSU Tigers and the staggering price tag LSU paid just to move on from Brian Kelly. Bill compares that to a 60 Minutes story about Georgia high school students possibly discovering a breakthrough for Lyme disease — and getting nowhere near the same financial support. The guys break down why college coaching money is skyrocketing and how the economics actually work.

Finally, the crew dives into a Newsweek article about millennial dating, online apps, and whether dating has become a lost art. Dan shares his app-based experience, while Bill and Mark reflect on never having used dating sites. Bill argues that the biggest issue in modern dating is people searching for validation from others instead of within themselves — though he admits that’s “easier said than done.”
