Avast, me hearties! Welcome to the first episode of the Bug Pirates podcast! This here's the tale of a crew of three-hundred sea-faring bugs from all over the world, on a mission to find the treasure stashed away in a legendary pirate's cave. But their journey takes a dangerous turn when a swarm of vicious robobugs, led by the evil Queen Number 1, attacks their ship, The Salty Dog.
These drones of death have iron plates for heads, armored thoraxes, and laser beams for eyes. The Bug Pirates are in for a fight for their lives! But with the help of their brave first mate, Trym the Norwegian scorpion (who's not very brave at all), Long John Silverfish the cockroach chef armed with a skillet and rolling pin, and Salvador the spider who's in charge of repairing the sails, they stand a chance against the deadly wasps.
Even the dung beetle twins Beetledum and Beetledee, who argue about whether their mother is alive or not, pitch in to fight off the robobugs. But will it be enough to save their ship and their lives? You'll have to listen to find out!
So buckle up, me hearties, and get ready for a wild ride on the high seas with the Bug Pirates!
