We've all tried to start something new, and a lot of times we either lack that kick in the pants to actually get going, or we are gung ho at first and then things go off the rails somehow. We know how important it is to have good habits - that will keep us healthy, make sure that we pay our taxes on time or remember to take out the garbage (sometimes the bar is very low!). But what goes into creating a habit, what good do they do and what are some of the things that we might need to be aware of so that we don't go down some dark rabbit hole by accident?
