Grace Life Church in Edmonton has been closed and its pastor arrested because the church obeyed God rather than man by continuing to meet for worship despite orders by health authorities to stop obeying God and start obeying man. The bureaucrats in Edmonton put a Nancy-Pelosi-style fence around the entire perimeter of the church and riot police occupied the building to prevent worshipers from obeying God rather than man. You can be forgiven for thinking this sounds more like Communist China than the Christian West. Well, some Edmonton citizens - apparently not members of the church - weren’t having it and dismantled the fence on Sunday morning. It was their version of dumping tea in Boston Harbor. Canada does not have a First Amendment, but Canadians recognize tyranny when they see it.
