Hector has early encounters with the “other side” as a child that left him knowing there was something more to this life than we can see. He details his family’s experiences with a witch doctor, demons, and how he now has a healing ministry. Before we began the interview, he also prayed for my brother Jack's shoulder over the phone, and it was healed right in our studio. This interview was recorded nine months ago, and Jack’s shoulder still feels great to this day!

645: Salish Sasquatch

In Episode 319: The Monster Outside My Window, we are joined by Derrick and Tayler. Derrick begins the show by describing his experience with a creature that approached his window one night while he was sleeping. After researching what he witnessed outside, Derrick concluded that he had seen a Rake. When he told his stepbrother about the encounter, his stepbrother revealed he had seen the same creature, but called it “the monkey man." After Derrick’s story, we talk with Tayler, who reached out to The Confessionals as a new listener. Through tuning in to the program, she started connecting dots between topics she never usually paid much mind. But then she started seeing things in her home, and she wasn't the only one - her husband saw them too. She describes the activity they both experienced, and how they made it stop.

In episode 644: Trauma To Triumph, Carly shares her story of growing up in a tumultuous family environment and experiencing paranormal and demonic influences. She discusses the importance of acknowledging the impact of parental figures on children's lives and the need to address children's imaginations and fears. Carly dives into her early paranormal experiences, including seeing energetic fields and levitating. She also recounts her encounters with dark entities and her experimentation with the Ouija board and witchcraft. She explains how her journey led to drug use, more trauma, and a suicide attempt. Carly shares her personal journey of faith, highlighting the challenges and struggles she faced within a toxic church environment. Despite the pain and manipulation she experienced, Carly's desire for her destiny in Christ kept her connected to the church. She eventually met her husband in that same church, but the revelation of her past with the pastor created a devastating impact on their marriage. Carly emphasizes the importance of allowing God to heal and rebuild, acknowledging that the process is messy and requires honesty and vulnerability. She also encourages others who have been hurt by the church to seek community and not walk the journey alone.

643: Quest For The Ancient Sundial

On Episode 486: The Dark Holler we are joined by Ward Hiney who is the producer, writer, and director of the hit docu-series called, "Dark Holler." Ward reached out to me last year to see if I would be interested in reviewing the first episode of Dark Holler, and we struck up a friendship. He became the main videographer for Merkel Media films as he has an extensive background in videography, which includes filming for Glenn Beck at The Blaze.



On Episode 486, Ward shares all about Dark Holler, and how a short trip to West Virginia to make a 15-minute video with a new camera rig turned into a five-episode docu-series gave him the realization that there is more to the spiritual realm than he ever could have imagined. UFOs. Poltergeists. Demonic possession. Premonitions from interdimensional psychedelic entities. Thin places in the veil. A paranormal parade of the highest strangeness in the lowest places. Old gods and ancient demons, names absent from the mouths of man for centuries, but are being uttered once more in reverence over backwoods altars. Could it all be connected? What if the truth lies beyond our predictable world, but closer than we think? Over our heads, under our feet. Maybe we only see what fits the rules we've chosen. Maybe it’s been in front of us the whole time. Deeper than we dream, darker than we imagine.
