Synopsis
What will be explored is a brief history of the NT church, starting with a cultural and historical insight of Jerusalem during Christ’s time, which was under Roman occupation at the time, and was heavily influenced by Greco-Roman culture. We will further delve into how the early church maintained its connection to Jewish synagogues and traditions, but also spread to the whole world through the church of the gentiles. As the church grew, it inevitably encountered battles with heresies, but was always triumphant, as the Orthodox Church is a living tradition, which is Theanthropic, and reveals the true relationship between God and man. The incarnation of the Word always the central point of all history.
